The Different Types of Urgency Campaigns You Can Create

We will start with your main assignment of this lesson: Create an hourly retainer document.

Make a simple document that elaborate your working hours (this will eventually turn into your pricing page, but for now, just make it a PDF version). It is very important for you to know what your value proposition based on how many hours you have spent creating your package offer, training, program, etc.

When making your document, we encourage you NOT to create small buckets of hours, because this attracts non-committed clients. Instead, you can offer packages, for example 10 weeks, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months program. We suggest making a training that is more a repetition. This way, you don't appear like you drop everything for someone in once.

You show you have a process and you have an easy to remember start date for both the client and you. Since these types of retainers don't typically roll over, having an easy date is important. It’s the same with clients who want to break in between, that is fine but on their count. You're going to require full payment up front. If you find someone who's struggling with this, you can have them pay their first two weeks in full for the first month only, as a trial basis.

Don't be too concerned about what you do when you're first starting. Just aim to be as helpful and responsive as possible, so they tell all their friends about you!
