The Different Types of Urgency Campaigns You Can Create

We will start with your main assignment of this lesson: Create a contract.

Alright, it's time to get serious here. It's really important to cover yourself legally, so finding a good contract template is going to be key.

If you are in our So ZEN as F*ck training, we have contract template resources as part of the benefit of being a member! If you are not in it (which you should consider checking it out) and if you don't have any lawyers in your network, you can try finding a free template.

The main things to remember here are:

  • Clearly stated who is the contract for,
  • Start date for the project or the ongoing business relationship,
  • Clear deliverable (for a project) or clear role and responsibilities/deliverables (for ongoing retainer agreements),
  • Any clarifying information on IP,
  • How much notice you require if either one of you decides to end the contract,
  • Payment terms (when you get paid, how you get paid etc.)

It doesn't have to be complicated, it just needs to cover most of the important things we mentioned and have room for two signatures. Of course, we aren't lawyers so we always say that we recommend finding one to work with, who can review your contracts and make sure you are properly covered. We also say dive right into smaller projects to get the experience and figure the details out later. The choice is up to you 🙂
