We will start with your main assignment of this lesson: Write a welcome sequence.

Yesterday, we created a simple Lead Magnet for your website and today we are writing your welcome sequence to go with it. Through writing your welcome sequence, you want to tackle all of the doubts that they might have about your service.

You can write it out in Google Docs for now, or you can write it right in ConvertKit or Mailchimp. This should be a minimum of 5 emails, covering the following:

  1. Email 1: Get to know you email, build trust, be authentic
  2. Email 2: Amazing Value, get them excited that they found you, and communicate your expertise
  3. Email 3: Agitate their problem, reveal gaps and holes that need a solution and communicate that YOU are the answer (subtly, people!).
  4. Email 4: Create demand for your services and deliver more value, help them feel the need for what you offer, and communicate your value and expertise (again).
  5. Email 5: Take Action, tell them exactly what they need to do. Get them to book a call with you and communicate urgency. You can also handle some of their objections here.

Once you've done this, you can integrate it into your Mailchimp or ConvertKit account! Hookup your freebie and embed the form right onto your website. If your website isn't ready yet, just add it to your Coming Soon page!
